| Job Summary: |
| NMI seeks an articulate individual with excellent financial skills and with a strong attention to detail to support the CEO & President, Vice President, and Board of Directors’ efforts to build NMI and to oversee all aspects of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as a team member to produce high quality research financial oversight, including the ability to handle confidential matters, data and information. The candidate should be highly energetic with a positive attitude. Integrity, professionalism, maturity and sound judgment are required to successfully manage the challenges of this position. |
| Major Responsibilities: |
- Produce accurate periodic financial reports in a timely manner.
- Produce complete quarterly financial board packages.
- Produce budgets for government grant proposals.
- Produce government financial reports and filings as required.
- Oversee all audits and ensure systems are compliant with audit requirements.
- Oversee all conflict of interest reporting and management.
- Maintain the company's indirect rate with the assistance of select service providers.
- Maintain revenue, expense and cash forecasts.
- Help design and support financial aspects of all major transactions.
- Manage cash and debt facilities.
- Manage receivables, payables and debt.
- Install and maintain appropriate cost effective financial systems.

| NMI is currently looking for a Director of IP to join our team. The position will manage and direct Nemucore's intellectual property strategy and portfolios, including worldwide patent prosecution, patent audit, and opinion work. It is expected that the Director of IP will be able to work closely with Nemucore's research, product development and business development team members to advise and guide them on intellectual property matters. |
| Essential Functions: |
- Performing legal services related to the procurement and enforcement of protection for the Company's intellectual property rights on a world wide basis.
- Drafting of patent applications for Research and Development projects
- Providing counsel to management with respect to such rights and for avoidance of infringement.
- Management of the company's IP portfolios
- Lead the intellectual propery role in assessing licensing opportunities
- Interaction with outside counsels on the drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
- Create, keep current and manage cost within budgets for all IP portfolio activities
